How to upload Media for your Tribute

This guide explains how to upload photos, arrange them, and submit your selection.

1

To log in:

You'll receive an email from your Funeral Planner. Use these to access the Tribute site and securely upload your images. https://applicant.obitus.com/

2

Check Service details:

Once logged in, you’ll see the names of the person the service is for and any tributes ordered.

3

Review your progress and start uploading:
On the main screen, you’ll see the number of files you've uploaded and any outstanding tasks.

The number of images allowed depends on your Tribute choice:
Single Photo: 1 image
Basic Slideshow, Themed Tribute, or Music Tribute: up to 25 images

For additional images, check the cost with your Funeral Planner.

Click ‘Begin upload’ next to the Tribute option you’ve agreed with your Funeral Planner to upload your images.

4

Select your images:
The image upload page will show the screen type at your service location. For the best results, match your photo orientation to the screen.

We can adjust portrait photos for landscape screens and vice versa, but matching them provides a more polished result.

5

To upload images:
Open your photo folder or click ‘Upload’ to open your files.
Select and drag the images to the upload section.
You can upload one image at a time or multiple images at once.

Supported file types:

Single Photo & Basic Slideshow: jpg, jpeg, png, tiff, pdf, doc, docx
Themed Tribute: mp4, mov, avi
Music Tribute: jpg, jpeg, png, tiff, pdf, doc, docx, mp4, mov, avi

The ‘Quick Help’ section lists the supported file types.

6

Arrange your images:

You can drag and drop images to adjust their order. Many people arrange them in a timeline or by themes like holidays or activities.

Once satisfied, click the "Submit Tribute" button. Ensure you submit your images by the upload deadline.

Your photos will be securely shared with our media team, who will begin preparing your Tribute. After submission, you can view your photos, but changes can be made by contacting your Funeral Planner.
